EV charger installation by region
Six regions at launch, each with its own contracted installer being signed. Quotes are free everywhere in New Zealand, and where we can't do the job yet we say so and put you on the waitlist rather than sitting on your details.

Each lines company's own website is linked. Their connection fees and lead times are theirs, and we never fold them into a fixed price.
Regions and coverage
Do you install in my region?
We're contracting Evnex-certified installers region by region, starting with the six on this page. Quotes are free everywhere in New Zealand: send your photos and we'll either price the job or tell you plainly that we can't yet and put you on the waitlist.
Does the price change by region?
No, and we don't publish regional multipliers because we haven't found a source that supports them. The published New Zealand range for a 7kW install is the same $1,500 to $2,500 everywhere. What moves your price is your switchboard, the cable run and the phase.
What does the lines company have to do with it?
Usually nothing. A 7.4kW charger on an existing single-phase supply is a new circuit in your switchboard, which your electrician handles. The lines company only gets involved when the supply itself has to change, for example a move to three phase or a bigger main fuse, and that work is quoted separately because their fees and lead times are theirs.
What if I'm rural or outside these regions?
Send the quote form anyway and say where you are. Distance from the switchboard is the usual complication on rural properties, and we'd rather tell you the honest answer than take a booking we can't service.
Send your photos. Get one price.
Five phone photos and five minutes. We check them with our installer and email one fixed price for the charger, the install and the Certificate of Compliance. Nothing is charged until you accept it.
